Well, I didn´t really plan on uploading this one......it is just a shot of my friend Hjörtur and me, with the Bassin d’Apollon (Apollo Fountain) and the Grand Canal in the background.

But misscharlie requested a photo of myself, and of course I must oblige ;-D
However most of the photos of myself were taken by my friends and so those pictures are in their own photo albums.
(Darn it, - I should have gotten copies from them)...
Well, but here I am -in the gardens of Versailles. -That´s me on the right, squinting into the sun ;-)

Both the fountain of Appollo and the Grand canal were completed in 1671.
The sculpture of Appollo depicts the sun god driving his chariot to light the sky. The Grand Canal is one and a half kilometres in length, and served as a venue for boating parties.
