In "my backyard" series, here's another experimental shot with my Canon 75-300mmIS lense. The lense was intentionally "fooled" by a dusty circular polarizer to get a double edge effect.

Here's another one from the Bair Island in Redwood City, Ca. This is a portion of the bay right by Highway 101 (for those who are familiar with the area). Not sure what it is but I believe it's an old crystallized branch.

Photoshop CS and Velvia plugin have been used to increase the contrast.Otherwise, the colors are all natural.
