La Machine in Liverpool.

A giant spider controlled by 12 puppeteers, using mainly hydraulics, walked the streets of Liverpool last weekend! The creature was designed to move just like a real spider. Very effective!

While scanning old slides I found this one. A Kodachrome dated 1958. The picture was taken by my partner's aunt who passed away some years ago.
I don't know who the little girl is. She must be in her fifties now!
