I always love revisiting my old "other" home town, Oslo :-D
And this time we went to see the brand new opera house - built right down on the waterfront (á la the Sydney opera house).
It was only four months ago that Norway´s King Harald V presided over the formal opening ceremony, (with many visiting dignitaries & royalty, f.ex.Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.)

The architects were the Norwegian firm Snøhetta who were also the architects of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (the Library of Alexandria) in Egypt.
The whole building itself is a great big public space. My home right next to the castle in Oslo's city centre. The last photo from somewhere up North I'm in the Med Sea now and have taken millions of pictures already. We've just left Venice after three days there and it was amazing, so stay tuned...
