built right down on the waterfront (á la the Sydney opera house). <br />It was only four months ago that Norway´s King Harald V presided over the formal opening ceremony, (with many visiting dignitaries & royalty, f.ex.Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.) <br /><br />The architects were the Norwegian firm Snøhetta who were also the architects of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (the Library of Alexandria) in Egypt. <br />The whole building itself is a great big public space.
