A native of Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of Mildred Graves and James Henry Milspaw. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Lindsey of Owego, NY in 1988. Mrs. Lindsey was a resident of upstate New York for 77 years before coming to Tucker, GA to reside with her son, Ralph "Dan" Lindsey and wife Genie Lindsey. Norma shared their home for 5 years before going to Rosemont Nursing Home of Stone Mountain, GA, where she spent her final years. Norma had a long hard battle for many years with Alzheimer's disease. In addition to her son Dan and wife, Genie, Norma is survived by another son, Michael Richard Lindsey of Owego, NY; grandchildren, Robert Daniel Lindsey (Leslie) of Tucker, GA and John David Lindsey (Brigit) of San Francisco, CA; Michael Richard Lindsey, Jr. of PA; and a step granddaughter, Shelley Thompson of Atlanta, GA; great granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Lindsey of Tucker, GA; sister, Janice Perkins (James) of Westminster, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Norma will be transported back to Owego, NY, where a memorial service will be held and she will be laid to rest with her husband, Ralph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosemont of Stone Mountain, 5160 Springview Ave., Stone Mountain, GA 30083 or to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345-3315 to hopefully one day have a cure for this disease.
