I stopped in at the Record Searchlight today to get a bunch of copies of Tuesdays Paper since I found out that one of the RC Plane pictures I submitted had been printed in the actual paper!

WEEEEEE First printed picture!!!!!!

of course Nina noticed a pet picture contest is going on right now and so we had to pic a picture to put up.... I think this one is pretty good... i fixed it up a bit... original is actually up on smokey's page right now http://www.fotothing.com/lisasam67ssmokey - the winner gets their picture on the front of next years calendar and $250 worth of goodies.

They are calling it Pet Idol after the American Idol show I guess hahaha...

anywho... it sounds kinda neat... they charge $15 for submissions but what the heck... why not. They print the pictures up in the classifieds for a few weeks and readers vote for their favorites and the field gets narrowed down.... will be interesting to see how far we make it.... GO RIKI! lol
