No matter where I turn, there's Santa, willing to help. This time he hauled all that firewood out of the car and stacked it behind the garage. He told me not to burn the pine in the wood stove because the high pitch content causes buildup in the chimney.
I did have the rototiller stored here, but good old Saint Nick moved that to inside the garden shed. After the car was emptied, he got out the shop vac and cleaned up all the debris, righted the seats, and even threw away a couple of used kleenex snot catchers that had been stuffed into the door pockets. He looked pleased with a job well done.

Did I get Santa another beer? You bet I did! ;-)

26000 acres burned in two days

Start confirmed: guy was shooting targets. No charges to be filed as no laws were broken. It was supposed to be a safe area to shoot at but it is so dry this year!!!!
12 homes have been lost and 27 outbuildings

Two firefighters on our nor cal fires lost their lives this weekend :-(

Will let u know if I hear anymore. The fire last night was just a mile from the house.

he jsst passed this scene i shot from the news channel
he shot these trucks with his blackberry hahaha
even hours apart we are in parallel universes!

they drove out to the ridge last night and it looked like the fire hadn't reached the house so fingers crossed

it's just such crazy terrain there.... this is gonna be a tough fire to fight
prayers are with these firefighters there that they are kept safe

we've swam in the river in that canyon and it's just so steep
jeff grew up in this area too.... so he knows what they are up against

just keep praying.... cause scary thing is that fire season hasn't even really started yet!
