I was moved to tears this morning as I drove to Redding. Just south of the South Bonnyview Rd. exit these two were riding in their field holding our colors high!

Cars honked

They waved

It was simple and beautiful and moving.

When I was driving south later on they were still there... 4 hours later

I'll bet they are still there..... reminding us to never forget.

update from the news tonight: Julie Tumino has been doing this since the attack on 9-11-01. Today her son rode with her. Her other son is an Iraq Veteran and still serving in the Army.

us. We know that landing patterns prohibit this air space, so sensed
something was amiss. Katie Couric a few minutes later said a plane
had crashed into WTC 1. We went to the roof from which I had to quickly
return to fetch my camera. So I missed the second plane coming in. But
we saw plenty of dramatic stuff that morning. I was puzzled by all the

We traded our Apt. in Nice for one at 8th St. and Broadway, NYC,
arriving on Sept. 9, 2001. This photo was taken on Sept. 10th from

Both buildings are gone in less than 2 hours from being hit. People were seen at the shattered windows below and above the crash site.
Despite the alleged 3000 degree heat, they were not fried. The buildings
went down anyway. Wtf???
