Construction of the Colorado River Bridge is advancing with construction of the 1,060 foot twin-rib concrete arch. The Colorado River Bridge is the central portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project. Construction on the nearly 2,000 foot long bridge began in late January 2005 and the completion of the entire Hoover Dam Bypass Project is expected in June 2010. Some new additions to my family.
I would like you to meet Charlie and Marmalade, they are 4 months old.
I bought them a cat scratcher and guess what? They like the box better! ~laughing~ They have not used the scratcher once (they prefer the rug), but this box is now almost destroyed. I took a side trip to Arizona to visit a friend. This is a picture of suguaro cactus in bloom. They don't last (the blooms) very long.
Not very good photos, because it was the wrong time of the day to be taking pictures.

I took a side trip to Arizona to visit a friend. This is a picture of her backyard. As I live in Washington State, I am so used to green and lots of grass. It always amazes me that when I come to Nevada to visit, there is very little grass, mostly rock yards.
