Hello All!

I thought I would add a personal message in here as well. I am participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure this fall. I will be running 5k!! Yes I will be running the whole thing! Anyways I haven't done much fundraising since "Tour de Quickie" days when I was a wee young one and people gave me money cause I was really young and cute. That was when I went door to door...none of this internet thing. I'm still young and cute :) but I know times have changed in the last 10 years and we all need our spare change for gas money these days. However cancer rates are also on the rise and any donation you can afford will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to help them with research, treatment, early diagnosis and improving the quality of life for those living with breast cancer. I'm sure all of you have been affected by breast cancer in some way or another and any donation you can afford will go to helping other women and familes get through their battles.

I am part of a team but I hope to raise $2000 on my own so PLEASE feel free to forward this to your friends, family and co-workers. I appreciate the support mucho! :D

Well, the day we lost Roxy, a small baby fell out of the hay mow at the stable (yes the same stable where I found Roxy one year ago) and needed a home badly - she has an injury to her hind end - therefore she hops with both hind legs at the same time and "frog hops" if you will.

The gang at the barn named her Kermit, which of course will never do here, because we already HAVE a Kermit.

Everyone, this is Dawson's new buddy. At the moment, we are calling her Polly - but I don't think it quite suits...

Any and all name suggestions for this little cutie would be most welcomed, we are stumped for a name! I figure since so many of you here loved the Rockapuss as much as we did - we might turn to our FT friends for help naming this little minute.

These lovely little bites raised a $190.00 at our last auction.
Elsie used to make these cookies for our church all the time,
She is well over 90 now and in a nursing home.
Her son has taken the recipe and for our auction makes several of these plates of cookies.
It has become a tradition. A very sweet one.
