is home to many Muscovy ducks that are  almost constantly fed  by the many frequenting the area just to look at them as they are stately when swimming in the pond. I also visit the area, not to view the ducks, but to watch the various wading birds that also visit the pond. <br />	During one of my visits, one of the ducks approached me for food. When I didn’t offer any, it dropped flat on its belly raised its wings and extended its neck with its mouth wide open  and began  to crawl along the grass. All the time hissing as Mucovies do. It was actually begging for food.
